Here’s my latest web design project, a clean, responsive ecommerce website for R and R Sports in Rossendale, who specialise in Snooker and Pool equipment. The company is owned by Peter who has 40 years in retail trade, and over 50 years of sports experience by actively taking part and being involved in a wide variety of sports.

Peter asked me to design and build a fresh and modern ecommerce website that was easy to use, and would display well on all devices including iPads and mobile phones. As with all my websites, the new WordPress ecommerce website is fully responsive and is compatible with mobile devices. Security was also a major concern for Peter, and the site uses an SSL certificate to let customers know that their private information is secure. These days security is also Google ranking factor so that’s great news if you have SSL, but ecommerce sites that don’t have a certificate could soon start to find themselves sliding down the search engine rankings…
